Frequently Asked Questions
These FAQs are our MVP guardrails.
Does GBTS receive donation money?
No. The MVP is goods-only. Givers purchase requested goods themselves.
Who can post a need?
Only teachers manually verified by Give Back to School.
Is the teacher anonymous?
No. Appropriate verified identity, role and school may be public. Private contact details and verification documents stay protected.
Can a giver be anonymous?
Yes. A giver chooses public, limited, company, or anonymous recognition.
Can givers and teachers communicate?
Yes, inside GBTS. Personal contact and payment details are not intended to be exchanged.
Who chooses the supplier?
The giver. The teacher defines the need and specifications; the giver can buy a compliant item from a supplier they choose.
Can a teacher ask for cash or GCash?
No. Cash and personal payment requests are outside the MVP.
How is delivery proven?
Purchase or shipping evidence can be uploaded and the verified teacher confirms receipt.
What if a giver changes their mind?
The commitment can expire or be cancelled so the need can reopen.
Can several givers fulfil one need?
Yes for divisible requests, such as books or multiple fans. Other needs may require one giver.
What can be requested?
Approved physical classroom or school goods. Cash, tuition, medical aid and major construction are excluded from the pilot.
Does verification guarantee fulfilment?
No. It means GBTS reviewed the teacher and need; a giver still chooses whether to provide it.
Can companies participate?
Yes, and they can choose public corporate recognition.
Where is the first pilot?
The planned pilot is Plaridel, Bulacan, starting small before expansion.
