GBTS Philippines connects verified teachers with people who want to provide specific classroom needs. The platform is now functioning as a pilot, and real classroom requests can already be posted, supported and completed through the platform.
Teacher gets verified
A teacher creates a profile and submits their school and verification details. GBTS Philippines reviews these privately before the teacher can post classroom requests.
Teacher posts a classroom need
The verified teacher submits the specific item needed, quantity, purpose, estimated cost and, when available, a classroom or request photo.
GBTS reviews the request
GBTS Philippines reviews the classroom request before publishing it. Once approved, the need becomes visible on the School Needs page for potential givers to browse.
A giver chooses a need
A giver browses approved classroom needs and chooses one they would like to support. After email verification, the giver commits to provide the requested goods.
The giver provides the goods directly
The giver purchases or provides the requested items directly. GBTS Philippines does not collect or hold donation money. After a commitment is created, the teacher and giver can coordinate privately through the platform.
The teacher confirms receipt
Once the goods are received, the teacher confirms the fulfilment through GBTS Philippines. The classroom request is then marked completed and may appear as a completed milestone.
